Explore somewhere new in your quest for art this weekend with a trip to Moabit’s Center for Art and Urbanisitics. Housed in a former railway depot and the cornerstone for artist collective KUNSTrePUBLIK, ZFK will open its doors this Thursday for the last ‚Openhaus‘ of the year presenting the work of artists and researchers in residence, including a film premiere at both 7:30 and 9pm.

If the commercial aspect of Christmas is getting you down then celebrate this time of year with a different focus – on pagan porn. The latest party by provocative photography project Pornceptual, the evening will be held on the Winter solstice and feature not only pagan rituals but also other erotic art perfromances and interactive installations. Established as an art publisher dedicated to publishing limited edition prints, Draw A Line focusses on international emerging artists with their roots in street culture – expect accessible, affordable art from recognisable names.

Sound Art / Platoon Kunsthalle

Introducing Glitch – a new series of evenings dedicated to sonic artists held monthly at well known Mitte venue Platoon Kunsthalle. The first edition will feature three sound artists including the very talented, Berlin-based sound artist Eiliyas, whose experimental video and music splices all manners of beats and genres. Also performing will be ethno electro artist Babel Embassy with an expressive dance performance, improvised singing and guitar, a unique aural experience.
