Vernissages / 3 Artists at Sprüth Magers Berlin
from Friday 7th February
From this Friday on Sprüth Magers Berlin will host not one, not two but three exhibitions by three different artists. The first of which, ‚Adopted‘, by German artist Michail Pirgelis, will focus upon the notion of the aura, conjured up through his array of objects. Moving on, ‚Bad Director’s Chair‘ will present the latest audacious piece by American independent cinema director John Waters, whilst American multimedia artist Karen Kilimnik will present a self titled show exploring her wonderfully theatrical, magical dream world.

Concert / Import Projects
Friday 7th February – 7:30pm
Ever seen an Icelandic quartett? No, me either, but now we can thanks to Charlottenburg space Import Project’s rich and varied events programme. A collective of string instrumentalists, for their performance at Import Projects the quartett will comprise of two violinists, a viola player and a cello player, coming together to push the boundaries between art, music and science. The quartett received lots of positive press last year for their experimental performances, and they have collaborated with high profile artists and curators, such as the renowned Olafur Eliasson.
