Vernissage / ‘Group Spirit’ at Peres Projects
Friday 28th June – 6pm
Try as we might, we cannot completely distance ourselves from the affects of the society we live in. Whether visible or not, it leaves its mark on our thoughts and actions, moulding our perceptions. These basic principles are just part of the ideas being explored in the upcoming group show ‘Group Spirit’ at Peres Projects, consisting of a mixture of known contemporary artists and unidentified African artists from Bassa, Gola and Mende – people of what is present day Liberia and Sierra Leone.
