There will be not only one but two vernissages at Sprüth Magers Berlin this Thursday. The first exhibition on Thursday night from 6 pm kicks off with ‚1970s Light-Solid Works‘ by Anthony McCall, presenting a series of his internationally recognised works from the seventies.
The second one shows Axel Kasseböhmer’s ‚100xWalchensee‘. Featuring a series of 100 small format oil paintings, 100xWalchensee focuses on the lake in its name which is situated in the Bavarian Alps, believed to have been frequented by impressionist painter Lovis Corinth.

4-day art event / Ten artists – 4 Venues

Ten artists will explore the range of their comfort zones in a 4 day event across 4 different venues. Recreating themselves through music, sound installation and film, the event will open at Sowieso in Neukölln with an 8mm film and synchronized magnetophone tape performance, as well as a musical performance with a clarinet, violin and piano.

Yoga – Music – Art Happening / Mettamorph
Friday 22nd November – 7pm
If you’re looking for a less ordinary way to spend your Friday evening then this event is most definitely the answer. A fusion event by London’s Funk The Buddha and Berlin’s Hoopurbia, the programme for Mettamorph includes a yoga session with live DJ, hula hooping, performance, a fashion show and art that inspires movement in the form of video, installation, sculpture and painting. Held at former power station Kraftwerk, an after party will follow and go on late into the night.

Opening / Moeller Fine Art shows Jeongmoon Choi
Saturday 23rd November – 6pm
After some exhibitions in London the amazing Korean artist Jeongmoon Choi presents her latest show in Berlin at Moeller Fine Art. Immediately recognisable, Choi’s signature pieces are light installations which fill whole rooms and spaces, using threads and ultraviolet light. She explains, “I draw directly into the room, walking through the space with thread,“, creating a kinetic environment which encourages viewers to interact with the space. Puls will include an installation created especially for the space as well as a collection of some of Choi’s 2D works.
